Aquarium Policies

We offer tours with English-speaking guides, as well as audio guides in Russian, English, Chinese, and Korean languages. You can pay for these services at the ticket office. 

Tickets are valid for one entry to the Aquarium.

Any ticket purchased from an unauthorized source is considered invalid.

People with disabilities and carers are served out of turn.

 

VISITOR RULES:

  • Weapons of any kind are prohibited on Aquarium grounds. Weapons include (but are not limited to) firearms, explosives, toxic chemicals, "non-lethal" devices or sprays, knives or other sharp instruments.
  • You're welcome to take photos and video for your personal use only. Commercial photography is allowed only with prior written permission from the Director of the Aquarium.
  • Flash photography is not permitted inside the Aquarium.
  • Adults are responsible for the behavior and supervision of their children under the age of 18. Do not leave your children unattended in the exhibits or near the escalators and do not let the children cross barriers or climb them.
  • Individuals suspected of being intoxicated or under the influence of drugs will be asked to leave the Aquarium. No drugs or alcohol are allowed on Aquarium
  • Smoking and vaping are prohibited on Aquarium grounds, including outdoor area.
  • No pets are allowed on Aquarium grounds, including outdoor area.
  • Selling goods and services, running public events and/or soliciting for information is prohibited on Aquarium grounds unless authorized by the Aquarium.
  • Nobody other than our authorized personnel may sell services as tour guides.
  • Do not feed of our animal residents, including those in outdoor ponds.
  • Do not throw things into the water tanks or pools.
  • Do not litter in the exhibits or in the outdoor area.
  • Do not tap on fish tank glass or put hands into the water unless authorized.
  • Do not swim in the fish tanks in the exhibits or in the outdoor ponds and pools.
  • The Primorsky Aquarium shall have no liability for loss or damage arising on the premises. Please, do not leave any of your property unattended at any time.
  • Do not break branches or pluck leaves and flowers from plants in the Tropical Rain Forest exhibit and in the outdoor area. Do not walk over the grass and remove the benches and other equipment.
  • No signage or distribution of flyers, pamphlets, or other literature is allowed unless authorized by the Aquarium.
  • Do not bring any large-size item of luggage into the Aquarium.
  • You’re welcome to bring and use your own strollers and wheelchairs throughout the Aquarium, but you are not permitted to cycle, roller-skate or ride a scooter or the like. Horse-riding and extreme sports are not permitted as well.
  • It is dangerous to walk on the ice of the ponds, pools and the sea on Aquarium grounds.
  • Do not climb the trees, rocks and art objects.
  • No fireworks or other explosives are allowed.
  • Campfires and picnics are prohibited on Aquarium grounds.
  • No unauthorized sound playback devices, amplifiers, loudspeakers or the like are allowed on Aquarium grounds.
  • Please use designated walkways and public access areas throughout the Aquarium. Read the signs on the doors and walls carefully and stay away from life support systems as it may be dangerous. Do not enter restricted areas, including designated employee areas.

Be aware that there are security staff officers and that we operate a closed-circuit television system throughout the Aquarium in the public interest for the protection and safety of our visitors, staff, animals and property.

Prohibited Conduct

Unruly or unsafe behavior that endangers other guests, disrupts their ability to enjoy the visit will not be tolerated and can result in ejection without a refund and/or prosecution to the full extent of the law.

Damage or destruction caused to any Aquarium property or equipment should be completely reimbursed.
