“EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT” PROJECT

Educational Environment project is a set of educational programs offered for free to specific groups of visitors:

  • Lesson at the Aquarium – curriculum-based classes for children 5 to 18 years old from kindergartens and schools;
  • Aquarium for University Students – self-guided tours for university and vocational college students;
  • Aquarium for Teachers – seminars and field courses for school and kindergarten teachers who intend to create lessons or tours based on the content of the Aquarium’s exhibits;
  • Supporting Social Care Program – tours for children from orphanages, special needs schools and emergency shelters.

All groups need to book their visits at least a week in advance and provide all the supporting documentation required for each program.

Additionally, you may choose to buy tickets for a workshop, a themed tour or a treasure hunt.

For kindergarten and school children

Lesson at the Aquarium

Fun classes in the exhibits of the Primorsky Aquarium help kids to understand the most difficult topics of the school curriculum, to learn about wildlife and to expand their knowledge about nature. Such classes both provide academic knowledge and teach students to think critically. Children meet live animals, explore the exhibits and solve problems.

Wednesday and Friday at 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 14:00, and 15:00

One adult chaperone, including the teacher, per ten students is required for each group and is admitted for free.

1 to 2 exhibits.
A group may visit all the exhibits upon purchasing admission tickets (at standard prices)

To receive a vehicle access permit for a school bus, send the application with the license plate number of the bus to oceaneducation@primocean.ru no later than at 12:00 the day before the visit.

Tickets for Lesson at the Aquarium+Dolphinarium (500 ₽ per person) are available for the participants of the program.
Seating is limited, so we recommend buying tickets in advance.

For university students

Aquarium for University Students

We offer vocational college teachers and university lecturers and professors an excellent opportunity to give their lectures in Biology, Ecology, Design, Engineering and other relevant subjects to their students at the Aquarium’s premises. The program is free for groups of such students on select dates.

(One teacher or professor is admitted for free)

The teacher/professor may give a lecture for the students in several or all the exhibits.
We offer one free pre-visit for each college teacher or university lecturer/professor, before giving the lecture. This pre-visit must be booked beforehand.

The group participating in the Project may buy tickets to a workshop, a themed tour or a treasure hunt. General admission is free for the group.

To receive a vehicle access permit, send the application with the license plate number of the vehicle to primocean_eco@primocean.ru no later than 12:00 the day before the visit.

For teachers

Aquarium for Teachers

We offer a variety of seminars and field courses to teachers working at schools, vocational colleges and kindergartens, as well as to university lecturers. You will learn more about the content of our exhibits and receive our educational materials and worksheets for the classes which you can conduct at the Aquarium, as well as in your classroom.

Groups may visit only the locations specified in the curriculum of a seminar/ field course. They may explore all the exhibits only upon purchasing admission tickets

For children from orphanages, special needs schools and emergency shelters

Guided tour of the exhibits

We invite groups of children from orphanages, special needs schools and emergency shelters to take part in our educational tours of the exhibits for free.

The date and time should be booked at least a week in advance. Supporting documentation (official order signed by the school principal or the director of a social service institution) should be provided.
